Shawn was the best agent we could have asked for. He is not only knowledgeable and experienced in the market, but is just a downright good guy. As young first time homebuyers, we were honestly a bit scared of the process, and went in thinking that realtors were like pushy car salesmen. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Shawn made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the first day. He met us where we were at, never pushed us, and was always patient with us. He knew we were inexperienced at homebuying, and it truly felt like he was always protecting us. He was always honest and upfront with us, even when he probably didn’t have to be. He would point out or warn us on things about houses we toured that, without him, we wouldnt have noticed until it was too late. He always gave us sound advice and was incredibly honest when we asked “if it were you personally, what would you think/do?” type of questions, which meant the absolute world to us. We knew we could trust him completely and that he truly cared about finding us the best home. He would meet us at all hours of the day, around our busy schedules, to ensure our best shot at seeing/offering on a home in such a competitive market. He told us from the beginning that he would work with us as long as it takes to find our home, and that he did. By closing day, Shawn felt less like a realtor, and more like a friend.
