Growing up in South Dakota instilled a love of community and people in Julie. This inspired her early career choices of helping people and is why she started her real estate career in 2006. She took some time away from South Dakota to explore the western portion of the US where she ventured to Sedona, Arizona for eleven years. It was beautiful there and she was able to help many buyers and sellers, but she determined that something was missing – it was her family. She has once again found her way back “Home” to Sioux Falls and to The Amy Stockberger Team.
Julie has served 5 years on the Realtor® Board of Directors, she was President of the Local Association and she also served with the State and National Associations. In 2018 she received her company’s Outstanding Leadership award. She has also chaired several committees and assisted with a variety of grants and supply drives for her community. Some of them being: Back the Blue, Feed the National Guard, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Kids Against Hunger and the Realtor’s Relief Run.
When Julie was asked to pick a color from a box of Crayola Crayons that best describes her, she chose “Tickle Me Pink”. She said because: “I am a bit carefree and girlish. I am known to follow my heart and I like to live life to the fullest. The color pink is said to represent friendship, affection, harmony, inner peace and approachability. I possess all these traits.”
Julie’s goal as your Realtor is to make the process of buying or selling a home as smooth as possible for you and your family. Julie looks forward to meeting and working with you!
